If you’re not local, and you can mail your item you’ll receive a shipping address to send your item to Nashville, TN 37206, United States. You purchase shipping and ship to us. Make sure your item is packed well and insured.
If you are local, our mobilization charge is $180. Over 50 miles from 37206 zip code is 70 cents per mile.
If you’re not local, we will provide an estimate for travel to you.
If we determine your project isn’t a good fit for any reason, you’ll receive an immediate refund. Otherwise, the $130 covers our minimum.
Items that are 12in cube / 300mm cube (length, width and height), are typically only 1 hour of scanning, and include coarse cleanup and orientation. If your scan only requires the minimum, it will immediately be scanned upon receipt.
Before receiving your data, you purchase return shipping OR authorize us to destroy the reference. We use commercial rates, and do not have shipping markup. Figure your shipping cost for return.
Once return shipping is paid or you authorize us to dispose of your reference, we transfer the scan data to you in STL or OBJ via web file transfer.
You can now open your STL or OBJ mesh with your favorite CAD package as a reference, upload to your favorite print service, or 3D print on your home 3D printer.
Refunds and cancellation may happen at any time initiated by you PRIOR to us providing data. Once data has been provided, no refunds are available.
Additional services to extract surfaces, modify meshes, fully reverse engineer to a nurbs solid (iges, step, igs, stp, sldprt, iprt), etc. are all available. Most items can be taken to a reverse engineered nurbs surface for $500 or less additional cost. Individual patch surfaces, pattern extraction and more are available.
