The design utilizes components already produced inside the community, that span multiple brands, makes and years. All parts included in the design are available new, so no reliance on vintage parts.

This is a work in progress, as only one prototype case currently exists. This case was extensively tested for over 3500 miles in a road race in July of 2024. A lot was learned, and the bike took 5th out of 14 teams. This event was also special, because I got to spend lots of “unstructured time” with two very close local friends along the race route from Burlington, Vermont to Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Custom parts are strategically limited to reduce cost, and as many off the shelf components as possible are used.
