Reverse Engineering and Duplication

One of the simplest and most cost effective applications for laser scanning, digital editing, reverse engineering and 3d printing, is the affordable direct reproduction of vintage, NLA or obsolete parts from high grade materials in FDM, SLA, SLS or MJF prints. Materials include Nylon, PETG, Stainless Steel, Aluminum, ASA, Carbon and Glass fiber reinforced plastic filaments, ABS and more.

Relatively large parts can be reproduced without tooling, on demand, and as needed. Below we take a look at a prime candidate for MJF 3D printing (arguably the best printing process available to the public right now).

A DXF of the mesh was also provided for manufacturing at a laser vendor such as Send Cut Send or Laser Bros.
